40 Weeks of Prayer and Fasting Comes to a Close

Dear Friends,This week marks the end of our time of intensive prayer and fasting before the Lord, which has now covered 40 weeks. As you know, we have been in a place of repentance before the Throne of Grace for the sins of the church in America; for our national sins; and then on behalf of the blessing of the nation of Israel—all since Friday, November 25, 2005.

We want to thank all of you who have chosen to “enter in” with us in agreement with the points of prayer we have offered during these past nine months. Now, we believe the time for BIRTHING has arrived, and as we PUSH TOGETHER, we trust that our Lord will be doing a NEW THING among all of us in the days ahead.

We close now with this promise from Scripture for our nation:

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. (Matthew 6:6) As the threat of terrorism continues to stalk our land, let's give thanks that our Father God has heard our groanings, and that an open reward awaits each of us from His Throne. May that “reward” now come as the harvest of a great multitude of souls who yet must come to know Him as Savior and Lord!
