I. REPENTANCE FOR SIN IN THE CHURCH: THE CONTROLLING SPIRIT
This Jezebel spirit along with the python or leviathan spirits can only be removed by prayer, fasting, and intimacy with Jesus Christ.
The first time I saw a python snake was in Vietnam. It was about twelve feet long and five inches thick. The way the python kills its prey is by wrapping itself around its victim and squeezing the life out of it.
Thats what a jealous, possessive, controlling spirit in a person does to a child of God. These spirits work together. The Hebrew translation for leviathan means twisted and coiled just like a snake. Leviathan is a lying, slanderous, anti-Christ spirit. Some day this spirit will be destroyed.
In that day, the Lord will take His terrible, swift sword and punish leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent, the dragon of the sea. (Isaiah 27:1)

Lord God, we repent that we have allowed Jezebel to operate in our churches and in our lives. We ask You for the grace and the strength to break free from her destructive influence, and to once again worship Youand You onlyin Spirit and in Truth. We repent, too, for the fear of man that has given ground for this spirit to operate among us. Thank You for healing us, for cleansing us, for setting us free and for making us whole, through Your Name and Your precious shed Blood. Amen.
II. REPENTANCE FOR THE SINS OF THE NATION: NATIVE AMERICAN ISSUES
In light of the atrocities our people have committed against the Native American peoples, we are most encouraged that some in the Senate have taken the lead in working to make an official amends for this tragic episode in Americas history. This week, we offer prayers and fastings for the passage of the Native American Apology Resolution, which was reintroduced into the Senate on April 19, 2005 by Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS). Please pray, too, for its companion bill in the House of Representatives, sponsored by Rep. JoAnn Davis (R-VA). Let us stand in a prayer of agreement that our Lord will make a way for this Resolution to be passed in Congress and sent to the president for his signature.

U.S. SENATOR BROWNBACK REINTRODUCES NATIVE AMERICAN APOLOGY
U.S. Senator Sam Brownback reintroduced legislation to offer an apology from the government of the United States to American Indians. Senators Byron Dorgan (D-ND) and Christopher Dodd (D-CT) cosponsored the legislation.
"This resolution recognizes and honors the importance of Native Americans to this land and to our nationin the past and todayand offers an official apology to the Native peoples for the poor and painful past choices our government sometimes made to disregard its solemn word," Brownback said. "This is a resolution of apology and a resolution of reconciliation. It is a step toward healing the wounds that have divided us for so longa potential foundation for a new era of positive relations between Tribal governments and the federal government. It is past time for us to heal our land of division, and bring us together as one people.s
The legislation, S.J.Res. 15, commends and honors the Native peoples for the thousands of years that they have stewarded and protected this land, and apologizes on behalf of the people of the United States to all Native peoples for the many instances of violence, maltreatment, and neglect inflicted on them by citizens of the United States. It also commits to build on the positive relationships of the past and present to move toward a brighter future "where all the people of this land live reconciled as brothers and sisters, and harmoniously steward and protect this land together.s
Brownback continued, The resolution I am introducing today does not dismiss the valiance of our American soldiers who bravely fought for their families in wars between the United States and a number of the Indian Tribes. Nor does this resolution cast all the blame for the various battles on one side or another.
"Martin Luther King once said, 'The end is reconciliation, the end is redemption, the end is the creation of the beloved community.' This resolution is not the end. But perhaps it signals the beginning of the end of division and the faint first light and first fruits of the creation of beloved community.s
The resolution of apology does not authorize or serve as a settlement of any claim against the United States and does not resolve many challenges still facing Native peoples, however, it does recognize the negative impact of numerous federal policies on Native peoples and cultures and strives to progress the process of reconciliation. III. THE BLESSING OF ISRAEL: THE ROLE OF THE CHURCH AS THE WATCHMAN FOR ISRAEL
In Jeremiah 31:6-7, God addresses a people who are His people but are not Israeland directs them to pray for Israel's salvation. The only people in all of history whom this would apply to is the Church, whom God calls here His watchmen. The Hebrew word for "watchmen" which the Spirit directed Jeremiah to use in this verse is the modern Hebrew word for "Christian""Notzrim! Although it did not mean Christian when first written, since this is a last days prophecy, it does mean Christian now.
"For there shall be a day, that the watchmen [notzrim] upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God. For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel." (Jeremiah 31:7)
- Reveal to the Church the Biblical truth of the nation of Israel's restoration and salvation.
- Burden Your Bride to intercede for Your people.
- Bless the remnant in Your Bride who have this revelation and use them as a leaven for the rest of Your Body.
- Raise up more intercessors with understanding for this time.
