“For such a time as this . . .”

This week, in honor of our covenant with Israel, we will “stand down” from our regular format to come into alignment with the prayers and fastings of many during this week of Purim.

Please stand in agreement with the prayers offered here by Intercessors for Israel . . . “for such a time as this.”

PURIM—THE FEAST OF ESTHER

The nation's security forces are on high alert regarding attempts by terrorist organizations to carry out attacks during the holiday.

Please pray for God's protection over the nation during the holiday.

Pray for protection of the security forces and guards spread throughout the country.

Pray that God will keep the forces Alert and give them good intelligence and information.

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. (Psalm 126)

We prayed for the release of the Jewish people from Captivity in two ways:

(Aliyah means: Return of Jews from exile to the Land of Israel). Biblically—The Exile, or The Diaspora, as many Jews call it, is regarded as captivity.The return of the Jews to the Land has always been fiercely opposed by the Arab nations around her, even to this day.)

—Pray for the return of Jews to the Land of Israel en masse.

—Pray for the Lord to draw the hearts of His People to His Land.

—Pray for release for the Jews themselves, from attachment to the nations where they are scattered.

—Pray for the Church to get a real vision for God's end time plan to gather the Jews to theLand of Israel.

Aliyah: Spiritual release from Captivity:

Zechariah 12, Joel 2-3 both speak of a sudden outpouring of the Spirit upon Israel. They speak of an event, a time in history where God sovereignly intervenes.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to fall upon our people as a flood, as a mighty rain.

Pray for the Spirit of Grace and Supplication to reveal the Messiah to Israel and for the turning of many to Him.

Pray for the release of many from the captivity of Sin, Tradition and bondage to the Living God.

Pray for a mighty restoration to break out in the midst of the Land.
