I. REPENTANCE FOR SIN IN THE CHURCH: DENOMINATIONAL BARRIERS (Part Two)

Let's also start teaching the whole Word of God, not just the parts that suit us: i.e., teaching only soothing things that itch or tickle the ears; or not talking on end times or things that might rock the boat such as topics and gifts of the Holy Spirit or spiritual warfare. In other words, pacifying the saints and fearing man instead of God.

God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Let's focus on the whole counsel of His Word.

Let's not get hung up on our differences and how we interpret Scripture. Don't you and your spouse have differences? You discuss and work them out between the two of you. As Scripture says, "Let us reason together." By His Spirit we build the temple, not by the flesh.

"For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ." Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name." (I Corinthians 1:11-14)

"Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." (I Corinthians 1:10)

"Father God, we repent of our denominational barriers and we ask You to teach us how to tear down the walls that have separated us, that we might grow up in unity in all things, according to Your Spirit. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

2. REPENTANCE FOR THE SINS OF THE NATION: HOMOSEXUALITY (Part Five)

GAY ACTIVISM ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES

Last week, we stood in repentance for the homosexual agenda in the public schools (K-12). This week, our focus will shift to homosexual activism on college campuses -- especially that which has targeted Christian schools.

One example will take place later this month at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. This school was established for the training of ministers and offers a quality Christian education. Lee is now facing a direct challenge from the homosexual community.

A national organization called Soulforce has targeted Lee University as one of the most "anti-gay" universities in America. This organization, which describes itself as a group of "gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Christians", announced plans for a two-month bus tour to "confront" nineteen prominent colleges and universities, including Lee, which have policies forbidding homosexual behavior. This group announced they will arrive at Lee University on Thursday, March 16. The bus tour, which it calls "Equality Ride" is being planned, they say, because Lee and the other targeted institutions are "epicenters of intolerance and oppression" which "force students into fear and self-hate."

At Lee as at many other colleges and universities, there is a war going on for the very soul of the students. As one friend told me, "We are now in an era where faith can be attacked on cultural grounds, and truth is strangled by so-called love and tolerance." This is a serious battle and it must be fought with Divine Wisdom and Truth -- "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:4) Above all, is His Banner of LOVE!! The battle belongs to the LORD.

Prayer Requests for Lee University:

• Divine Wisdom is needed to know how to bring in the gospel of reconciliation and prayer. Since there is a groundswell of prayer for revival on college campuses, pray that March 16 might be a time when there is a GREAT AWAKENING AT LEE! Instead of confrontation, let there be reconciliation, healing and deliverance!
• PLEASE PRAY FOR DR. PAUL CONN, PRESIDENT OF LEE. He is a Godly man! He needs great wisdom to walk through this situation in a manner worthy of the Lord. Pray that what Satan has meant for evil in the lives of the students of Lee, the LORD will use to bring greater awareness of HIS TRUE AND PERFECT LOVE.
• PRAY FOR THE STUDENTS AT LEE -- They have a great opportunity to share their faith. I heard of a young man who was expelled from Lee for practicing a gay lifestyle. It caused much pain for his parents and a major split in his home church. At all the Christian Universities in America, there are always forces at war against the good news of the gospel. Due to the size and diversity of Lee, there are those in the student body who may be empowered by the agitation brought by outsiders. Pray especially for them.

Prayer for the college campuses in America:

"Father God, we come before you, bowing in fear and trembling on behalf of the youth of our nation. We ask that You would strengthen those who now stand in righteousness, as they aredaily confronted with the forces of the darkness of this world. We ask You to forgive the members of Soulforce, specifically, and all other "gay rights movements" on college campuses today, for they know not what they do. We ask You to restore what the locust has eaten in the lives of these young adults, that they might be set free from the snare of the fowler and live to praise You, to glorify Your name, and to take his part -- each one -- in the building of Your kingdom. We ask all of this in Jesus' mighty name, Amen!"

3. THE BLESSING OF ISRAEL: NATIONAL ELECTIONS ON MARCH 28TH

We have received the following report from Intercessors for Israel:

Israeli national elections are going to be held March 28th

• Lord, according to Your prophetic Word, give us shepherds to lead this nation in a way that pleases Your heart and furthers our kingdom purposes in the earth.
• Father, we hold this word before You, desiring to see You fulfill it in the next elections: "And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith LORD." (Jeremiah 23:3-4)
• "But when the children of Israel cried unto LORD, LORD raised them up a deliverer." (Judges 3:15a) Based on this reoccurring theme in the book of Judges, raise us up a deliver now.

We stand in agreement with these prayer requests from believers in the land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Amen.
