I. REPENTANCE FOR SIN IN THE CHURCH: DENOMINATIONAL BARRIERS

Stop building denominational walls before it's too late!

" . . . Strengthen the defenses! Make bricks to repair the walls! Go into the pits to trample clay, and pack it into molds! But in the middle of your preparations, the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down. The enemy will consume you like locusts, devouring everything they see. There will be no escape, even if you multiply like grasshoppers." (Nahum 3:14,15 NLT)

Though this book of Nahum talks about Ninevah's judgment, verses 14 and 15 of Chapter Three is a shadow of and relates to how the denominations have constantly built walls of separation between themselves. There first needs to be unity in the individual churches and then between the churches. The church is not a building, but people and relationships.

Wouldn't it be nice if the Lord would have a letter to the church (not churches or denominations) of your particular city, like He did with the seven churches spoken of in the book of Revelations, Chapters Two and Three?

"Everyone keeps telling me about the arguing that goes on in these meetings, and the divisions among you, and I can just about believe it. But I suppose you feel this is necessary so that you who are always right will become known and recognized!" (I Corinthians 11:18,19 TLB)

Why Homosexual Activism in Schools Endangers Students

As it now stands, each child enrolled in a public school is likely to receive numerous direct and implicit messages at school that homosexual behavior should be accepted as normal. By posing as a part of the civil rights movement, homosexual activists have succeeded in attaching their message to the message of "human rights" and "tolerance" already incorporated into countless lessons in a typical curriculum, e.g., in social studies and literature classes. Homosexual advocacy takes the idea of being kind and civil and perverts it. Homosexuals, bisexuals and cross-gender practitioners are falsely alleged to be illegitimately discriminated against, even "oppressed" by the majority.

This is a simple issue: there is no legitimate rationale for giving or implying endorsement of homosexual, bisexual or gender variant behaviors among children of any age. It is not a viewpoint, but a high-risk, and often lethal, behavior. The issue is not one of rights, or opinions, but of health and social stability.

Unfortunately, advocates of homosexuality, including teachers, students, administrators, teachers' union delegates, and school board members, have in many districts become empowered to promote homosexuality in a variety of ways. Curricular materials and extra-curricular programs implying or proclaiming acceptance of homosexual behavior are becoming more and more common. These are frequently initiated through school alliances with influential homosexual pressure groups such as GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) and PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). Local resistance is suppressed as advocates receive pro bono legal support from the ACLU, the Lambda Legal Defense Fund, the National Education Association's legal defense for homosexual teachers, and other groups.

In order to survey and to audit homosexual activism in the schools, Mission America is sponsoring the Risk Audit Project, relying upon a network of volunteers in all 50 states tocompete a detailed, uniform research instrument in their own school districts. Prayer partners are also being recruited to intercede for the success of this project. • Father God, we repent that we have allowed these homosexual activists to influence our schools, and we cry out for the protection of our children on these campuses. We ask You to FORGIVE those who are promoting this agenda, for they know not what they do. Visit each one, Holy God, and bring them healing, salvation and deliverance -- and new life in You!

We ask You to sound Your trumpet, Holy God, both alerting our parents to this danger to their children, and raising up an awareness of the Risk Audit Project, in response. We ask Your divine protection, too, to rest upon all those who are engaged in this battle against sodomy in our schools, that our nation might once again reflect Your righteousness. We ask all of this, in Jesus' Name, amen.

3. THE BLESSING OF ISRAEL: PRAYING FOR THE RETURN OF THE JEWS (ALIYAH)

Concerning aliyah, the return of the Jews to the land of Israel, the handwriting is on the wall. There was a terrible murder of a Jewish youth in France last week and now Iran is blaming the Zionists for the destruction of an ancient mosque in Iraq!

• Lord, wake up the French Jews to come home en masse. Use the terrible torture and murder of the young French teenager for Your glory—as You wake up that whole community.
• Release the large [about 25,000] Iranian Jewish community to come home as well.
• "Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him...This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise." (Isaiah 43:5-7, 21) will be exiled again and bring confusion into the Body of Messiah.
