I. REPENTANCE FOR SIN IN THE CHURCH: GREED (Part Two)
Here's another area of concern: Are we soaking the sheep to build or buy a fancy multi-million dollar complex to be used for a church which is really not needed for the size of our flock? Or are we ministering to the flock according to Isaiah 61:1-3?
The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. (Isaiah 61:1-3 NIV)
I am not against big churches but when people are told to mortgage their homes for such a place and end up with huge debts, then it's getting out of hand. This has happened too many times.
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. (Mt. 23:14 KJV)

II. REPENTANCE FOR THE SINS OF THE NATION: PLACING ACTIVIST JUDGES IN THE COURTS OF AMERICA (Part Two)
Continue in repentance this week that we, as a nation, have allowed our judges to assume the job of the legislature (making laws) instead of maintaining their constitutional obligation (interpreting the law). As a result, over the decades we have witnessed a gradual but pronounced slide into "legalized" moral degradation: "gay marriages," abortion on demand, euthanasia, and now the taking of private property under eminent domain -- all are now "legal" by man's law -- but certainly not by God's law.
There is hope for change on the horizon, though, as we now enter into the second week in the confirmation of Judge Samuel Alito to serve as a Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.
Judge Alito is the pivot vote to turn the nation from moral disintegration and infant genocide unequaled in history: 50 million have been slain, as many as died in WWII. His confirmation could turn the nation from the societal plunge towards God's judgment, and turn us from an anti-family, anti-Christian, anti-Christ, anti-Life agenda in every area of society. A God-fearing majority on the bench might turn our society back to God.
There is a national turning to God on the grass roots level. According to Fox News, 37% of Americans say they are born again evangelicals. This is a sign that there is a national revival beginning. The court will either be a protector of the revival if Judge Alito is confirmed, or a persecutor if not. The killings may spread from the infants and the old and weak to average people.
We must corporately cry out to God for Judge Alito, proclaim Christ's presence and the angels' presence, and bind the work of the evil one. Pray for an open heaven in the Senate. Bind all witchcraft curses over the chamber, and speak SUCCESS and an orderly procedure in the U.S. Senate this week during the debate and the vote on this nomination. Pray for God's covenant destiny for America day and night.

- Pray that God would have His way throughout the confirmation process.
- Pray that attempts to waste taxpayer money by filibustering would fail in favor of a simple up and down vote in the Senate.
- Pray that righteous judges would replace the ungodly ones in all judicial districts.
"We need common sense judges who understand that our rights are derived from God. Those are the kind of judges I intend to put on the bench."
III. THE BLESSING OF ISRAEL: ISRAELI ELECTIONS NEED PRAYER
We find ourselves in a totally new situation with the Israeli elections coming up on March 28th Before Sharon's stroke, all polls and predictions were that his new party Kadima (Forward) would win an overwhelming number of Knesset seats and he would be back for the 3rd time as Israeli Prime Minister. But Kadima is actually centered around only one man—Sharon. And now with him out of the picture, the whole political scene in Israel is a huge balagan (a big mess, confusion, etc.)!
- Still God—You are in control. There are no emergencies in heaven. "LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all." (Psalms 103:19)
- We thank You for removing Sharon from authority as he in arrogance went against not only Your revealed Word but also the will of the people who placed him in office.
- "I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another." (Psalms 75:4-7)
- For whom Lord, do you want us to pray to be elected as the next leader of Israel's government?
- If Benjamin Netanyahu is Your choice—please open his heart to do Your will and hear Your Word.
- Abba, You said in Zechariah 12 that the "governors" or "generals" of Judah would stand for Israel when the nations come against her. Are You looking for a team?
- Raise up faithful men and women who deal with integrity, who have the ability to rule in humility, and have the same heart as the children of Issachar, "which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…" (1 Chronicles 12:32b)
- Please subdue the enemy. Let there be no manipulation, bribery, sorcery, etc., in this election.
