1. REPENTANCE FOR SIN IN THE CHURCH: COMPROMISE (Part Two)

Jesus is a true example of integrity and truth. If we want to be like Jesus, we need to walk with integrity. We need to walk the talk and are to be the salt of the earth. "So He fed them according to the integrity of His heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands." (Ps. 78:72)

Let's teach the truth, the whole truth, and not just love, grace, prosperity and promises; but also justice, and conditions to promises. We cannot serve two masters. Apathy has to go. "Woe to  those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness." (Isaiah 5:20) Integrity is having the guts to tell the truth, though it is costly. It's the ability to endure laughter, embarrassment or injury to stand up for what is right.

Are we willing to be severed from the run-of-the-mill compromising church? This is what it will cost us to ride with Him, who has no darkness. Our family siblings, our immediate family, and even spouse may ridicule us. They may say we're too religious, but it's not religious at all. It's becoming a pure bride and being obedient to the Lord. We may also have our pastor come against us; which happens often. God is separating His people unto Himself. Are we willing to accept that?

(See also the judgment against two of the seven churches of the Book of Revelation. The Church of Laiodicea was found guilty of being neither hot nor cold, but only lukewarm for the truth. Unless they repent, God will spew them out of His mouth! [Rev. 3:14-16;19-22] The Church of Pergamum was guilty of "clinging to the teaching of Balaam" and of "clinging to the teaching of the Nicolaitans," which led to immoral acts. Unless they repent, God will judge this church "with the sword of My mouth." [Rev. 2: 14-16])

2. REPENTANCE FOR THE SINS OF THE NATION: EUTHANASIA

Euthanasia is murder -- plain and simple. It is murder of the elderly, who no longer are able to care for themselves, and it is murder of the disabled, who also no longer are able to care for themselves. There are those within the New World Order who refer to these two groups as "useless eaters" who, according to the principles of sustainability, are therefore "expendable" as they no longer produce an economic benefit to the society. Instead, the elderly and the disabled are seen as a "drain" to society, so the "greater good" is to see them removed.

The tragedy of the case of Terri Schiavo almost one year ago is the epitome of this murderous philosophy. The judicial system hid behind their black robes, saying they could "do nothing" for this precious young woman, and so the feeding tube (which gave her her life) was pulled. Terri Schiavo was murdered, and was offered up as a sacrifice to the teachings of euthanasia.

One of the Ten Commandments is: "Thou Shalt Not Murder." STAND IN THE GAP FOR A NATION THAT HAS LOST ITS SENSES, AND WHICH NO LONGER VALUES LIFE. Repent for the sin of euthanasia in America.

3. THE BLESSING OF ISRAEL: DELIVERANCE FROM THE SPIRIT OF HUMANISM

(Note: As we intercede for America, we must also intercede for the nation with whom we have a covenant: Israel. Often, her sins are our sins, and vice versa. Please find below excerpts from this week's bulletin from Intercessors for Israel, and pray in agreement with these requests. www.ifi.org)

a. The spirit of humanism: Yesterday, a suicide bomber was heading toward a Chanukah party in a kindergarten when he was stopped (Praise God!) at one of those Israeli checkpoints that the world complains about. One IDF officer and three Palestinians were killed, several soldiers and Palestinian by-standers were injured when he blew himself up.

This past week has seen a multitude of rocket attacks both from Gaza and Lebanon. Plus many terror attacks have been stopped. Yet this nation is asleep. Only a successful attack causes us to draw the correct conclusions—that our enemies are serious about wiping Israel of the map.

It is a liberal humanistic spirit that is killing us, and we need to pray it out!

• Lord, help Israel's leaders and media understand that it is the thought that counts in all attempted attacks.
• Open the eyes of Israelis to the reality of the hatred of the surrounding nations against this nation.
• "Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people…They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance." (Psalms 83:1-4)
• Please O King, let Your fear fall on both us and our enemies this coming year. "The fear of LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death." (Proverbs 14:27)

b. The Root of this problem goes back to the foundation of the State. Most of the initial pioneers were secular Zionists—although there were those who did believe in Israel's Rock.

Just like in the wars of the Maccabees which we celebrate during this Chanukah time, the real enemies of the State of Israel were those Jews who wanted to be a nation like any other nation, who wanted to assimilate and not accept that this nation is chosen for His purposes and glory.

Same thing today.

• Lord, raise up the Sons of Zion against the Sons of Greece. (Zechariah 9:13)
• Cast out the spirit humanism from Your Body and make us compromise-resistant. Give us the gift of repentance.
• Expose the spirit of humanism that pervades Rabbinic Judaism and cause Your people to repent. "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)
